After returning home from Aussie, our first outing in the celica at Meremere was successful. By the third run of the day we managed a 6.90 @ 199mph making us the first import car in NZ to run in the 6 Second bracket.
To run 6 seconds at our home track was a goal which we have been chasing
"Next Goal 200mph in NZ"

Spring Nationals
We ran in the new ANDRA super compact class, where we took the win with a final run of 6.973 @ 198 mph.
All in all a very sucessful weekend!

We were number 1 Qualifiers on Saturday, with a 6.90 @ 201 mph.
On Sunday we ran a 6.82 @ 201 mph and later in the afternoon, running the fastest time of the meeting, a 6.73 @ 205 mph.

Winter Nationals
We had four runs which were expedition passes only, the best e.t was a 7.30 as it took us the four runs to start getting a handle on clutch settings.

Had a great day racing! We did a 7.040 @ 194.5 MPH.
We walked away with the fasted time of the day and enjoyed two rounds of racing Joe Signorelli from Australia. We were quite pleased with the successful outcome of both races.

We were proud winners of the best drag car in the show and shine event. However due to bad weather, the conditions of the track limited us to burnouts only.

7.48 run on our second pass with new motec computer.
Rayglass had the only two vehicles running 7 secs at the event. The Datsun won the fastest 4 cylinder doing a 7.67 run and the Celica won the fastest 6 cylinder and the fastest ET of the day.

Unfortunately still chasing ignition & Computer problems, very similar to Dragmasters. Best ET 7.57 @ 160mph, we also raced the Datsun, which went 7.67 @ 177mph straight off the trailer.

Our first outing for the Celica we only managed 1/2 track passes due to Ignition problems. Best ET to date 7.97 @ 146mph coasting to the finish line, Best 60ft : 1.080
